UMP Summer Nationals Tour
16, 2018) Devin Gilpin and the Jim Beeman Motorsports
team were in the pit area tonight at the Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway
in Joliet, Illinois for another $10,000 to win UMP Summer Nationals
battle. Unfortunately, the team discovered terminal engine problems
prior to the race even starting, which prompted them to scratch
from the event and head back home to Indiana prematurely.
(June 15, 2018) The
third leg of the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals was held earlier this
evening at Sycamore Speedway in Maple Park, Illinois and a $10,000
payday was on the line. In the richest Super Late Model event ever
at the 55-year old facility, Devin Gilpin qualified tenth fastest
in Group A during time trials prior to grabbing the fourth and final
transfer spot through his heat race. The Columbus, Indiana ace then
blasted past ten cars during the 55-lap headliner en route to a
strong fourth place showing behind only winner Shannon Babb, Billy
Moyer, and Ryan Unzicker!
(June 14, 2018) The
Jim Beeman Motorsports team joined the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals
tour on night two tonight at Kankakee County Speedway in Kankakee,
Illinois. Devin Gilpin timed in ninth fastest in his group during
qualifying before running seventh in his loaded heat race. Following
a victory in his B-Main, Devin advanced past five competitors during
the $5,000 to win feature to land an eleventh place effort in the
40-lapper at the 1/4-mile fairgrounds complex.
Gilpin Nabs Top Ten in Dirt Late Model
Dream Prelim at Eldora
10, 2018) Jim Beeman Motorsports and driver Devin
Gilpin traveled to the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from
June 7-9 for 'Dream XXIV.' After Thursday night's $5,000 to win
prelim was pushed back to Friday afternoon due to inclement weather,
Devin won his heat race prior to knocking down a solid ninth place
effort in the 25-lap feature. Later that evening, Devin ran fourth
in his heat race and thirteenth in the $10,000 to win headliner.
At the "Big E" on Saturday, Devin finished fifth in both
his loaded heat race and B-Main, which unfortunately kept him out
of the $100,000 to win 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' However, the Columbus,
Indiana ace did score the victory in the B-Scramble after his consolation

Devin Gilpin Lands on Podium in Johnny
3, 2018) Devin Gilpin and Jim Beeman Motorsports
invaded the nearby Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on
Saturday, June 2 for the 'Johnny Wheeler Tribute.' The Ultimate
Battle of the Bluegrass Super Late Model Series presided over the
single-day throwdown, which boasted a $3,000 payday. Devin ran third
in heat race action and later started the 31-lap main event from
the outside of the third row. The Columbus, Indiana hotshoe was
then able to work his way past three competitors during the headliner
en route to a strong third place podium performance behind only
victor Hudson O'Neal and runner-up Jason Jameson. Complete results

Gilpin Racks Up Three Feature Wins
Over Memorial Day Weekend!
28, 2018) Columbus, Indiana ace Devin Gilpin racked
up three feature wins over the hectic Memorial Day holiday weekend
(May 25-27) to elevate his 2018 win total to seven! Following a
sixteenth place effort in an Open Wheel Modified on Friday night
in the annual 'Josh Burton Memorial' at Bloomington Speedway in
Bloomington, Indiana, Devin rolled into the legendary Brownstown
Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on Saturday evening. Devin won his
heat race in both his Open Wheel Modified and Jim Beeman's Super
Late Model before bagging a pair of victories in the weekly feature
events. He scored $1,200 for his Late Model triumph over Adam Bowman,
Chad Stapleton, Alan Magner, and Matt Bex, while he nabbed a $600
top prize in the Modified division.
On Sunday, the #1G team unloaded at the famed Eldora Speedway in
Rossburg, Ohio for the annual running of the 'Johnny Appleseed Classic,'
which was sanctioned by the American Late Model Series. Devin qualified
second fastest in his group during time trials before running second
in his heat race. After starting the 25-lap sprint from the outside
of the second row, Devin bolted into the lead on the first circuit
and led each and every lap to record the $3,000 windfall over Matt

at Brownstown for 4th Victory!
20, 2018) After the 'Outlaw Invasion' weekend was
washed out at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio, Devin Gilpin made a
last minute call to unload an Open Wheel Modified on Saturday night,
May 19 at the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana.
On a hammer-down racing surface from afternoon showers, Devin ran
second in his heat race. He then took the lead about five laps into
the weekly UMP Modified feature event and led the remainder of the
distance to pocket the $600 payday ahead of Tim Rivers, Jeremy Owens,

74; Sees Rain at Fairbury
13, 2018) The Jim Beeman Motorsports team and driver
Devin Gilpin had a pair of $10,000 to win MARS Racing Series tilts
in the Land of Lincoln circled on their racing calendar over the
May 11-12 weekend. With Saturday's rain-out of the annual 'FALS
Frenzy' at Fairbury American Legion Speedway, the #1G team competed
in one lone event on Friday evening at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer
City, Illinois. Devin Gilpin stopped the clock fastest in Group
B during the qualifying session prior to scoring an impressive heat
race triumph. After starting the 'Farmer City 74' from the outside
of the front row, Devin ran second early in the 74-lap affair before
eventually sliding back to fifth at the checkers behind only victor

5, 2018) Devin Gilpin, of Columbus, Indiana, tackled
the annual 'JB Robinson Memorial' on Friday night, May 4 at Bloomington
Speedway in Bloomington, Indiana. The Summit Racing Equipment American
Modified Series (AMS) roared into the Hoosier State last night to
sanction a $2,000 to win throwdown. Devin won his heat race in preliminary
competition and later started the 40-lap feature event from the
pole position. After leading the first eleven circuits, Devin unfortunately
lost a motor and was dropped to twentieth in the final finishing

into the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Saturday evening,
April 28 for a $5,000 to win shootout, which was sanctioned by the
American Late Model Series (ALMS). Devin Gilpin clicked off the
third fastest lap in his group during the qualifying session prior
to securing a victory in his loaded heat race. After starting from
the pole position in the 25-lap sprint, Devin raced amongst the
leaders throughout the distance and was eventually paid for a runner-up

Devin Gilpin Sweeps Weekend; Wins
Three Features for $8,000!
22, 2018) Devin Gilpin, of Columbus, Indiana, finally
returned to racing action over the April 20-21 weekend and promptly
earned three feature victories at two area racetracks - Brownstown
Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana and Florence Speedway in Union,
Kentucky! On Friday night at Brownstown, Devin piloted Jim Beeman's
#1G MasterSbilt racecar to a heat race win prior to leading all
25 circuits in the unsanctioned headliner to bag the $2,000 top
prize over Tanner English, Nick Hoffman, Steve Casebolt, and Alan
Magner. Devin then also scored the $1,000 paycheck in the Open Wheel
Modified division at Brownstown after starting from the fourth position.
At Florence on Saturday evening, the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals
Series presided over the annual running of the 'Spring 50' and 28
competitors piled into the pit area at the undersized 1/2-mile oval.
Devin qualified well and won his heat race in preliminary action
before starting the 50-lap contest from the outside of the sixth
row. He then led laps 17-18 of the storied race and took the lead
for good on lap 40 to bag the $5,000 windfall ahead of Michael Chilton,
Eric Wells, Steve Casebolt, and Eddie Carrier, Jr.! Full results
